Ohinewai is a small, semi-rural community situated approximately 7 kilometres north of Huntly. The school is located in the heart of the community just off SH 1, and caters for students in Years 1 to 8. Ohinewai School is a six teacher school with a roll that sits around 120. The school has five classrooms, a library and a swimming pool. A caring family atmosphere is a key feature of our school environment. Our latest ERO Report reflected the great work that Mr Nesan Govender, Mrs Leah Boldero, the Board of Trustees and staff have put into making our school the rural school of the future.
